Åre Cabin is nestled on the shores of lake Åresjön in the Jämtland province of Sweden. Our cabin is part of a calm, small-scale resort of privately owned cabins. Combining closeness to nature and easy access to the ski- and mountain lifts.

The train station and bustling town-centre of picturesque Åre are within walking distance. This makes it an ideal four-season getaway location to Scandinavia’s prime mountain destination.

The mountains of Sweden might seem like a distant place. But getting to Åre is no more complex than getting to resorts in the Austrian, or French Alps. Although it does have a very different and authentic experience to offer.

Direct flights go daily from Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Copenhagen and many other airports to Trondheim Vaernes airport.

From Trondheim it is a simple 2 hour drive by (rental) car, taxi, or train to Åre. Alternatively, you can travel via Stockholm to Åre/Ostersund airport. Which is about 1 hour by (rental) car/ taxi away from Åre, and also reachable via public transport.
